LAUNDRY PRODUCTS

Our laundry products research project is completely funded from our own resources.
We do no accept any form of contribution towards this research

(other than sourcing some boutique products not available in the supermarket).

The latest survey of laundry products has been completed - 54 powders and 41 liquids   The information is being prepared for the web site, as soon as time permits.
The information will be displayed for "Top Loading Washing Machines"  and "Front Loading Washing Machines"  and then by LIQUIDS or POWDERS for each type.

The analysis will include separate rankings in pH, Electrical conductivity (EC), and the concentration of each of the elements - boron, sodium, phosphorus and sulphur.   The concentrations of other elements are sufficiently low to not warrant separate rankings - potassium, magnesium, calcium.

Hopefully, we will next examine dishwashing detergents for both hand and machine washing ( by about March 2006).  We have no intention of examining fabric softeners, wool washes, bath soaps, bleaches or other cleansing products, nor any personal chemicals (hair conditioners, body emulsions).

We are happy to discuss any of the above information with product manufacturers.

We can only discuss individual concerns about laundry products on a consultancy basis (charged at commercial rates).

The following documents have been made available to the public at various meetings and seminars.  All the information comes from work for which research has been completed or is underway.  Other projects are continuing.
